I’m a multimedia journalist who has contributed to the Los Angeles Times, Brand X, NBC L.A., Access Hollywood and Orange County Local News among others. I also worked as a photographer, shooting live events and concerts.

As of right now, I’m a general assignment reporter for the Los Angeles Times Community Newspapers in Orange County, writing for the Coastline Pilot and Daily Pilot.

A recent college grad, you could easily call me a media junkie. During my four years at UC Irvine, I started a journalism magazine called Incite (sometimes compared to Mother Jones), which received funding from the Center for American Progress in Washington D.C. I also had two radio shows at KUCI — a comedic news program with my friend Robbie and an indie music show called “Cup of Jo” that aired on Sunday mornings. The summer after my 4th year, I interned at NBC Universal, working for AccessHollywood.com.

While at UCI I earned two bachelors degrees in social-cultural anthropology and Spanish. I think they’ve given me a unique and invaluable perspective on the world we live in. I also took the opportunity to study both disciplines at the Universitat de Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain from July ’07 to July ’08.

I’m always open to learning about new opportunities, meeting new people and growing more as a journalist and creative professional. I hope you enjoy my site and feel free to contact me.
