I’m a writer and audio producer based in Los Angeles. You might’ve heard my audio documentaries on KPCC, KCRW and the BBC, such as this fun one about a mysterious balloon artist who covers L.A. in multi-story installations or my first-person account of living in a “pod.” I love stories that intertwine culture and commerce, such as pieces I did for Marketplace about how the motorcycle industry was finally adapting its bikes to fit women (its fastest growing segment) and how a local taxidermist was changing the age-old art form.
I got my start in newspapers, covering hard news beats such as cops and local government, and love going down an investigative rabbit hole, such as a series on the state shutdown of a local police academy.
I also work in podcasting as a story consultant, producer and strategist. Need help producing a podcast? Hit me up. Currently helping former Newsweek editor Bill Barol launch the podcast Everybody Lies. If you have a story to tell, check out this survey.
